Matthieu Léveillé is an outstanding artist with a unique sound signature. When he won the Festival de la chanson de Granby in 2000 with the group Ïambe, he was forced to stop everything. After several years of fighting cancer, Matthieu left the hospital and studied music. He obtained a bachelor's degree in classical guitar from UQAM in 2008 and a master's degree in performance from the University of Ottawa two years later. He then embarked on a career as a bedside concert performer in hospitals and hospices where he performs personalized and customized concerts for patients and families. In 2016, Matthieu returned to composing songs and wrote his first album, Les chansons inentendues. His concerts are an unforgettable experience where emotions are carried by deep songs that address sometimes sad and sensitive subjects. The next moment, we laugh out loud!
